The Minitell Daily Pill Reminder is very useful for those who are active in the community who have to take regular and perhaps time sensitive medication. It fits easily into a pocket or handbag. The Minitell Daily Alarmed Pill box can be set to alarm up to five times daily. It has five pill compartments on the rear side. At the dosage time the alarm sounds (a loud beep) and it vibrates. Pills can be accessed by turning the Minitell pill cover to open the pill compartment. This cancels the alarm. This product is not suitable for someone with confusion as the pill compartments are not lockable. The Minitell has a ‘vibrate only’ function which is particularly useful if the user requires a discreet reminder, for example, in a meeting, so as not to disturb others. The Minitell is very effective in helping remember to take their medication. It’s use can result in improved health, more independence and a better quality of life. Although the Minitell is used mainly by people taking time sensitive medication such as those with Parkinsons Disease, but it also benefits patients with: Learning difficulties Physical difficulties, Visual impairment Hearing impairment and - patients with long-term medical conditions on a daily pill regime.
